First we found the white tigers. They were SO beautiful! Very tame and just laid by the glass, letting us check them out. Then the male came out and the female and male began to...well....possibly further their species. We told the kids they were wrestling. :)
The day was great, a little warm but we found some missters and the kids loved them!
Halfway through we stopped at a dining area for lunch. We packed some picnic food and sat down to feed our kids (and adults). We had a pecock mommy and baby checking us out and while the adults were ignoring them, the kids were "dropping" crackers. When Hailey got up to come see me, the mommy hopped up on Hailey's empty chair and snatched her sandwich. Aedon and Hailey were pretty scared but we calmed them down and fixed Hailey a new sandwich.
After lunch we were off looking for new friends to meet, watch and enjoy. :)
On the way home from the zoo the kids fought it but finally crashed.
Of course it rained most of the way home as well, but better that then on us at the zoo. :) I'll leave you with a few pics that Alex got of the animals.
