On Saturday, July 3rd we went with our roomies to Ft. Rucker to the Freedom Festival. There were lots of venders, blow ups for the kids and helicoptors open for exploring. Amos enjoyed showing Briahna around the helicoptors.
Briahna also did an obstacle course with her daddy's help. Hailey preferred to sit in the stroller and watch.
We then got hungry so we went and staked our post on the football field where there was a stage set up and live music from several different Military Bands. We then took turns going and getting food.
More friends came and joined us and we just sat around, eating, listening to music and visiting.
At 9:00 came the fireworks, it was an awesome show! We had a BLAST!
Right before we left Kansas, I saw these shirts and had to get them for the girls.
On Sunday, July 4th we went to church, ate lunch and napped. Then in the evening we went to our Sunday School teacher's house for a BBQ. They had a blow up water slide for the kids and we brought snaps and fireworks to share.
All of our activties made for a fun and relaxing weekend. We hope you enjoyed your 4th!
